Tumakuru, June 8, 2025: The Samruddhi Education Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to social welfare, provided significant financial and medical assistance to several individuals in need during a program held on Sunday, June 8, 2025. The initiatives, led by the Trust’s President, Belagumba Venkatesh, highlighted their commitment to education and community well-being.
Support for Education: In a crucial move to bolster higher education, the Samruddhi Education Trust presented ₹20,000 in financial aid to Kavana P.C.M.B, daughter of Kumaraṇṇa from Ranganathapura village, Nagavalli Gram Panchayat. This assistance aims to support Kavana’s academic pursuits in the PCMB stream, easing her family’s financial burden.
Eye Care for Elderly: Recognizing the health needs of the elderly, Belagumba Venkatesh personally intervened to assist Lakshmidevamma, the 70-year-old wife of Rangayya from Madapura village, Cheloor Hobli, Gubbi Taluk. Upon learning of her vision problems, the Trust facilitated the provision of eyeglasses for Lakshmidevamma, improving her quality of life.
Long-Term Medical Support: The Trust also extended a lifeline to Manjunath, a 25-year-old youth from Ranganathapura village, son of Shivakumar, who is suffering from a mental illness causing frequent seizures (likely “pidisu” referring to epileptic fits). Manjunath requires approximately ₹3,000 per month for medication. In a compassionate announcement, the Samruddhi Education Trust’s President declared that the Trust would sponsor Manjunath’s treatment for a full year. As an immediate measure, financial assistance covering two months’ worth of medication expenses was provided.
President Belagumba Venkatesh emphasized the Trust’s dedication to supporting individuals facing various challenges. “We believe in creating a supportive environment where no one is left behind, whether it’s for education or critical medical care,” he stated.
The event was attended by key members of the Samruddhi Education Trust, including Secretary Harish Byrasandra, Trustee Vaddarahalli Narasimha Raju, Hebbaaka Kumar, Tondigere Sunil, Ranganathapura Gram Panchayat members Rameshaṇṇa and Sureshaṇṇa, Nagavalli Gram Panchayat member Janardhan, and Chandru B.V. from the Information Technology Division.
