‘Vidyarthi Mitra’ and ‘Udyoga Mitra’ Newspapers Distributed to Hebbur Government School; Two Children Adopted, Water Filter Promised

Tumakuru, July 1, 2025: Under the leadership of social activist and known student advocate, Belagumba Venkatesh, ‘Vidyarthi Mitra’ (Student Friend) and ‘Udyoga Mitra’ (Employment Friend) special supplements of the ‘Samyukta Karnataka’ newspaper were distributed today to SSLC students of Hebbur Government High School. These publications were provided to the children for a one-year period for the 2025-26 academic year, to aid their studies.

Speaking on the occasion, Belagumba Venkatesh Anna said, “Education plays a crucial role in shaping the future of students. These newspapers will help students prepare for exams and gain information about future employment opportunities.”

During the same event, two underprivileged children studying in SSLC were adopted, with Belagumba Venkatesh’s team taking full responsibility for their education. Additionally, considering the health of the children in Hebbur, it was announced that a water filter would be provided to ensure access to clean drinking water, demonstrating concern for the students’ well-being.

The useful program was attended by Belagumba Venkatesh, along with Hebbur Nagesh, Nagavalli Janardhan, the school’s headmaster, teachers, and newspaper reporters. This initiative successfully instilled new enthusiasm among the students.
